Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 August 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of SortScript (the "Service"), provided by Quasol Ltd ("SortScript", "we", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your pharmacy ("you", "your pharmacy").
2. The Service
SortScript is a workflow platform that allows pharmacies to import prescription batches, create and manage patient orders, collect patient payments, generate shipping labels, and send automated patient communications. SortScript is a software tool — it does not provide clinical advice, dispensing decisions, or pharmaceutical services.
3. Your responsibilities as a pharmacy
You remain solely responsible for:
- Holding a valid GPhC registration and operating within the scope of your registration
- The clinical accuracy of every prescription, dispensing decision, and patient interaction processed through SortScript
- Complying with all applicable law, including UK GDPR, the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, and GPhC standards, in relation to any data you process using SortScript
- Keeping your account credentials secure and controlling which staff have access
- The accuracy of information you upload, including PMR exports and product/pricing data
4. Free trial and subscription
- New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full feature access and no credit card required.
- After the trial period, continued use requires an active Professional subscription, billed monthly.
- Current pricing is shown on our pricing page and may change with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Patient payments
Patient payments are processed by our payment partner, SumUp. SortScript does not hold or process card details directly. Refunds, chargebacks, and payment disputes are subject to SumUp's own terms in addition to these Terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any patient or purpose outside the scope of your GPhC registration
- Attempt to access another pharmacy's account or data
- Reverse engineer, resell, or white-label the Service without our written agreement
- Upload data you do not have the right to process, or that is unlawful, or that infringes another party's rights
- Use the Service in a way that disrupts its operation or security
7. Data processing
In providing the Service, SortScript acts as a data processor on your behalf for patient data, and as a data controller for your pharmacy's own account data. Full details are set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice where practical. Professional plan accounts receive priority support.
9. Intellectual property
SortScript and all associated software, design, and branding remain our property. You retain ownership of all data you upload or generate through the Service (including patient and order data), and we claim no rights over it beyond what is needed to provide the Service to you.
10. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for clinical, dispensing, or regulatory decisions made by your pharmacy. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are materially breached, if required by law, or if your account poses a security risk to the Service or other users. On termination, you may request an export of your data within a reasonable period, subject to your ongoing GPhC record-keeping obligations.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to account holders by email before taking effect.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
